A lockoff is a built-in feature that locks your seat belt for you. When a lockoff is present, you will not need to engage the locking mechanism of the seat belt.
A load leg rests on the floor of the vehicle and manages crash energy to reduce head injury in rear-facing carseats. It’s available on 2 convertible models. Not all vehicles allow load legs.
European (Euro) belt routing is a feature of some rear-facing only infant seats when installed without the base. The shoulder portion of the seat belt is wrapped around the back of the carrier, which decreases downward movement and force on a child’s shoulders and neck.

CarSeatSite notes on installation: While LATCH is often preferred for installation, I find I get a tighter installation using the lap/shoulder belt. There’s a learning curve to keeping the shoulder belt tight as you pull it tight and slide it into the lockoff, but once you get it, it’s a great install.
