I have a question regarding the graco snugride click connect seats. Can I use the click connect 30 LX SEAT with the click connect 40 BASE? Or are these two not interchangeable? I don’t like how the click connect 30 base doesn’t have a lockoff. I would prefer to use the click connect 40 base with my seat if appropriate.

Yes, all Click Connect seats are compatible with any Click Connect base; however, that doesn’t mean you can use your carrier to 40 lbs. Have you considered buying a SnugLock base instead? There’s the regular SnugLock base: http://amzn.to/2uNzMs7 and the DLX version: http://fave.co/2vzobKv. Neither will give you the recline options that the CC 40 will, if that’s what you’re looking for, though both have lockoffs in the SnugLock arms.
