A lockoff is a built-in feature that locks your seat belt for you. When a lockoff is present, you will not need to engage the locking mechanism of the seat belt.

A belt tensioner tightens the seat belt for you with little effort; it uses leverage to make the job easier. It presses the belt into a channel(s) to shorten it mechanically and create the tension.

Comments
The belt-positioning booster portion of this carseat isn’t long-lasting. The shoulder belt guide is the same height as the top harness slot, which means it won’t last most kids until they fit a seat belt alone safely. Use it in a pinch, but keep in mind that the shoulder belt guide in booster mode needs to be higher than a child’s shoulder.
