Evenflo is voluntarily recalling the Revolve180 LiteMax NXT infant carseat sold in the United States. In performing ongoing crash testing, Evenflo found it didn’t meet certain federal performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the angle indicator on the base. The carseat was more upright than it should have been even though the angle indicator showed green.
This recall only affects some Revolve180 LiteMax NXT infant seat models, including those purchased separately or those that are a part of a travel system. No other Revolve models or non-rotating LiteMax NXT carseat models are affected.
What Should You Do?
Until Evenflo provides a remedy, you may continue using the LiteMax NXT with one of the following adjustments:
- Install the carrier without the base. If you need help, Evenflo has a video here.
- Use the carrier with a compatible LiteMax NXT non-rotating base
- Use the carrier with the current rotating base and the accessory load leg
- Use the carrier with the current rotating base and a slightly adjusted recline
- Use outside the vehicle as a carrier or with a compatible stroller
